The dream of a perfect sports car drove Ferry Porsche to create the very first Porsche on 8 June 1948, and that dream is alive and well today 70 years on.
In June this year, to celebrate the 70th birthday of Porsche, our Porsche Centre will be holding a Sportscar Together Day. You, your family and your friends are invited to join us at the Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire on Saturday 09 June from 11am to help celebrate this historic occasion.
The event will be a celebration of all things Porsche, bringing together Porsche drivers and fans, along with a display of over 350 Porsche models, both classic and new. Plus, a summer German Market will be offering artisan food and drink to purchase alongside a family entertainment area.
In the afternoon, there will be a Porsche 70 Concours d'Elegance, featuring a curated collection of rare and high value Porsche models. The concours entrants will parade around the race circuit within the castle grounds and will be judged by a panel of Porsche experts and special guests.
