Porsche Centre Wilmslow was delighted to host guests for a weekend of adrenalin-fuelled motor racing at the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Staying at the fantastic Château des Arpentis just outside of Amboise, guests enjoyed five days of glorious weather and VIP treatment. Activities included wine tasting, champagne receptions, helicopter rides to the circuit and a visit to the Musée des 24 Heures-Circuit de le Sarthe.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race is the oldest sports car race in the world and this year marks its 85th anniversary. Organised by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO), the race takes place on a mix of public roads and specialist motor racing circuits and it is the ultimate endurance test for competing drivers and their cars.
Porsche completed a fantastic race, finishing first with their 919 Hybrid #2 car. This is their 19th overall victory at Le Mans and third victory in a row.
Simon Kemp, Group Franchise Director said: “Our Le Mans experience is a highlight in the calendar for many of our Porsche customers. Le Mans is a well-known and exciting event for any motor enthusiast and it was a pleasure to host our guests for the weekend in such a wonderful setting and to witness another Porsche win!”

For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
